Fun red-tailed hawk adventures this weekend. The smaller birds are chasing the hawks like crazy, I assume to protect the young chicks/eggs. I saw a group of a dozen chasing one hawk, seemed to be composed of two different small bird species. There's a cute mother/ducklings on the 2nd hole of my golf course, the ducklings are really young/small and they are glued to mom at this point. Our 3 pelicans (white with black wing tips) are still hanging out as well.

Well, droped by the Denver Zoo this weekend, it was an overcast cool day, so the animals were nicely active. Saw a penguin feeding (they eat the fish whole head first), two small black monkeys were really fun to watch playing, my favorite was snow leapord cubs (about 1 year old) playing together. The denver zoo has pretty nice habitat for it's animals, the mountain goat exhibit was the first in the world to create a natural setting.
